Playing Music with Spotify or Another Music Service

Learn how to play music alongside Boogie Bingo Live using Spotify or another suitable music service.

Updated 13 October 2026

Does Boogie Bingo Live play the music?

No. Boogie Bingo Live runs the bingo game, but the music audio comes from your chosen music service or playback setup.

Think of it this way: your music service plays the songs, while Boogie Bingo Live manages the tickets, song tracking and winning claims.

Using Spotify

Ready-made music packs can include a matching Spotify playlist, which you can open from the available pack or hosting controls.

Play the songs through Spotify and keep the Host Screen updated as each song is played.

Boogie Bingo Live does not automatically control Spotify playback.

Using another music service

You can also use another music source, such as Apple Music, Amazon Music or YouTube Music, provided you can play the songs in your selected pack.

You may need to find or prepare the matching songs yourself.

A simple hosting routine

  1. Choose a music pack and create your game.
  2. Prepare the matching songs in your music service.
  3. Open the Boogie Bingo Live Host Screen.
  4. Play each song to your audience.
  5. Record the corresponding song in Boogie Bingo Live.
  6. Watch for player claims and continue until your game is complete.

Can I play songs in a different order?

The Host Screen offers a song list and Search control, allowing you to find and record songs manually.

Whichever order you use, make sure the recorded songs match the music your audience has actually heard.

Music licensing

If you're hosting music bingo in a pub, club, venue or other public setting, make sure your music playback arrangements and any required public-performance permissions are appropriate for your event.

Access to Boogie Bingo Live does not itself grant permission to publicly perform commercially recorded music.
